Development & Finance Assistant - Recess
Development & Finance Assistant reporting to the Director of Advancement.

Specific duties include the following:
Handle financial transactions including processing invoices, checks, receipts, reimbursements, credit card purchases;
Maintain ongoing communication with ArtsPool, our financial management service team
Keep accurate and up-to-date financial records
Make bank deposits
Track philanthropic requests, pledges and contributions
Update donor database
Respond to donor queries
Generate acknowledgement and ask letters
Manage donor and board lists and generate donor reports
Compile grant proposal material
Track benefit ticket and merchandise sales
Qualified candidates should possess a B.A. or B.S and at least 2 years of administrative experience; excellent written and verbal communication skills; financial literacy; flexibility and strong ability to work independently; ability to multitask and keep track of details; experience managing interns and volunteers; online fluency; strong skills in Microsoft Office, Google Drive, and CRM programs; financial management and/or development experience a plus
Salary: Hourly $18-21/hour depending on desired benefits package. Health insurance available.
Position start date: Immediately
Schedule: Three days (24 hours) a week; occasional events and programs outside regular hours
