Teen and Community Programs Manager - Wexner Center for the Arts, Ohio State University
The Teen and Community Programs Manager is responsible for the development, implementation, and evaluation of programming for teens, families and young people during non-school hours and in key neighborhood communities in Columbus. In consultation with the Director of Education, this position is responsible for prioritizing within the program area, maintaining existing programs where they are still effective and proposing and developing new programming where opportunities are presented. Specific programmatic responsibilities will shift depending upon annual priorities set by the Teen and Community Programs Manager in collaboration with the Director of Education and other staff members. Successful candidates will demonstrate facility with cross-cultural dialogue and is experienced in working in creative, collaborative and interdisciplinary ways. Successful completion of a background check is required prior to start date. Evening and weekend hours required.

A Master’s degree in an appropriate field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; strong teaching, administrative and communication skills; experience working with teenagers; some supervisory experience.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in the arts in prior work; three years of work experience at an art museum, visual arts center, film center or performing arts center; experience utilizing video and computer technologies for art production.
